Welcome

Starting January 1, 2013, I will begin reducing my life to a series of numbers. These numbers will be used primarily to track my weight loss progression with figures related to weight, calories intake, run time, etc., but I will also chart other numbers such as money spent, food eaten, wake-up time, sleep time, work time, free time, etc. These numbers will be compiled in a Google spreadsheet and appear on the side of the blog. I might add new fields throughout the year as I come up with them, but the goal is to be as comprehensive as possible the first time.

If you are reading this, you are most likely a friend or family member. I encourage you to leave comments as they will help me know people are paying attention. I'll also be taking photos of myself to help track my progress which I will be able to hopefully see in a few weeks. My goal is to be a fit and trim 170 with six pack abs by May 1, 2013, which is a few weeks before my wedding.
